Senior Investigator, United Republic
Lee Fang is a Senior Investigator at UnitedRepublic.org, a former investigative blogger for ThinkProgress.org and a freelance journalist.
He has written for ThinkProgress.org and The Progress Fund. Lee holds a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park. Previously, Lee interned with ThinkProgress and worked as a researcher for Progressive Accountability. In college, Lee held internships with Media Matters for America, Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones, and Westin Rinehart.
He has broken stories including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's foreign funding, the attendance of Supreme Court Justices at secretive political fundraisers, and the stealth efforts by lobbyists to orchestrate and control the Tea Party. Lee's work has resulted in multiple calls for hearings in Congress and the Federal Election Commission. His book on the campaign to block Obama's domestic priorities is slated for publication in late 2012.
